The Pyro-Flex Life Safety Fire Barrier Protection Systems are engineered as high performance fire resistive systems for sealing expansion joint openings. The systems are comprised of a flexible, high purity ceramic fiber blanket, stainless steel foil and a matrix of fire resistive cloth as required to achieve a specified protection and endurance rating. Systems are secured directly to the structural concrete expansion joint opening. |

Fire barrier systems engineered and tested to current standards and code requirements. Ratings include 2,3 and 4-hour endurance. Seismic fire barriers accommodate multi-directional movement including longitudinal shear. Vertical and horizontal systems include chase and plenum designs. Factory approved transitions insure continuity of rating throughout the structure. |
